BIOGRAPHY
- Birth name: Lee Yeung Chung
- Birth place: Beijing China
- Date of birth: April 26, 1963
- Martial arts practice: Wushu and mix martial arts he need to learn for movies
HOW GOOD IS HE?
Jet Li does not believe that he is one of the best around the world. However, he stated that his martial arts is decent. Talk about humility. The main thing that separate him from common wushu practitioners is his speed. He also mentioned that the overall structure of a martial artist's body limits ones potential and it just happens that his body is lighter. You can clearly see that his reflexes are outstanding. Furthermore, he was trained with traditional wushu and competed in Chinese wushu competition which is much complicated and shall I say difficult compared to what we have in the Olympic games today. For 28 years he trained hard to master each form of wushu with the use of numerous weapons and that fact alone certainly makes him skillful. There is no doubt that he can beat the hell out of you. Nonetheless, he is a peaceful man and would rather settle everything than turn it into a brawl. However, given that he is challenged, there is no way he would resist a good match with one of the world's known martial artist.

HOW GOOD IS HE?
Jackie Chan was a stunt man before he was discovered to have some potential in acting as a main star. He was even took part of a movie were Bruce Lee really gave him a hell of a beating. However, despite the fact that he practiced martial arts for his profession, he is quite well on the art. His body was amazing when he was younger which is one evidence that he trains hard. He do his own stunts. Which makes several doubles jobless because of him. LOL. He even have his own stunt team that is in-charge on every everything and is quite effective as you see how his movies turned well. He certainly have the skills and the body to become the best martial artist in the world. He is strong and agile making him a competitive opponent indeed.

HEART-PUMPING ACTION
Although it was not for real, these two martial artists are really awesome. Both of them started off without taking any form. They just pound each other with a series of fast punches and strong kicks. They are somehow evenly matched in terms of speed but Jet Li certainly have some edge with regards to style when he used Mantis. This style is named after the Praying Mantis which is an insect with a distinctive hand form. The martial artist copies not only this form but the aggressiveness and swift moves of the insect as well. Clearly, Jacki was losing the battle until he drank a cup of wine and used Drunken Fist. This style is among the variations of wushu. It uses mainly the whole body weight and momentum for a vicious attack. Moreover, it can also be very tricky because its forms will tend to confuse the opponent by acting as if he is drunk. This is one of the hardest to learn for it also needs some good acting to be effective. The battle is again even and both of them had their own moments. A series of flashy kicks and countless punches almost made my heart burst with excitement. However, Jackie almost got this fight by using Crane style which is a complicated and speedy form which aims to attack vital parts of the body. His hands formed a beak which certainly made the impact of his blows stingy. The fight was short and all of us will definitely agree that it was worth to lengthen it a bit more. Nonetheless, it is still one of the most epic battles I have ever seen.
KUDOS to both of them!
The two famous martial artists shown the world how discipline and determination can be your stepping stones towards success. They are not only good in martial arts, but in real life they are wonderful people as well. Jackie Chan have several foundations mainly to help children and those who are in need. Nonetheless, Jet Li aims to promote wushu with his movies to keep the tradition and art burning. Although the outcome of their battle was not decided, truly they are skilled and experts in martial arts. They are icons that touched so many lives and that alone made them the best among the rest. KUDOS to our masters!
